Q: Is it possible to get a ride back to my home or work after dropping my vehicle off?

A: We will gladly give you a ride home or to your place of employment and arrange to pick you up when your repairs are finished.

Q: Since my car is going to be painted, can you match the factory paint color of my vehicle?

A: Paint is mixed in our PPG computerized paint mixing room by our expert technicians. Color match is achieved but in some cases, due to fading of the original paint. Blending may be required into adjacent panels to achieve a satisfactory finished appearance. You will be very happy when you see the finished product.

Q: How can I get a rental car?

A: Michael's Auto Body works with all the local rental companies. They will meet you at our shop or we can give you a ride to their facility.

Q: If the frame is damaged, can it be repaired properly?

A: We utilize the state-of-the-art measuring system called G-force by Grabber. Our technicians will return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If the frame is bent beyond a safe repair, then that section will be replaced. Safety is our main concern when repairing your vehicles chassis integrity.

Q: How long will the repairs take?

A: After the estimate is repaired we will be able to give you a ballpark estimate as to when your vehicle's repairs will be completed. As such, there may be unforeseen damage found and in that case a supplemental claim will be submitted to your insurance company. The estimator will then be able to give you any extended time needed in order to repair your vehicle back to its pre-accident condition.

Q: Does my insurance company have the right to tell me where to get my car repaired?

A: No you have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.

Q: When does my insurance company inspect my car?

A: Some insurance companies want you to visit their drive-in claims center before having your car repaired. You can do this (if your car is fit to drive), or you may leave your car at our shop and ask that the insurance company inspect the car here.

Q: Where do I get a claim number?

A: Your insurance company will provide you with a claim number when you report your auto accident. If you need the phone number of your insurance claims department Michaels Auto body would be glad to assist you. Just call us at (978) 927-4964.

Q: Can I drive my damaged car?

A: Never drive a car that could be unsafe because of damages.

Q: Why should Michaels Auto Body work on my car?

A: Your car is the second largest investment you're likely to make. Preserve its value and your safety by having it repaired professionally.

Q: How will I know if my car is a total loss?

A: Your insurance company determines this by the actual cash value of your auto in ratio to the dollar amount of your repairs. Your insurance company will notify you if your vehicle is deemed a total loss, but please ask the experts at Michaels Auto body. We have all the experience to repair just about any damage.

Q: How will I know when my car is done?

A: We will notify you a day in advance when to expect your car back. If you would like updates more often during the repair process please let us know.
